Premier League GW6: Saturday Predictions
Arsenal vs Leeds
Arsenal vs Leeds is the 12:30 GMT kick-off on October 10, with Leeds unbeaten thus far. The Gunners will understandably start as the favourites, but Leeds have looked good so far, scoring impressive wins against Newcastle and Nottingham Forest.
The Gunners have injury concerns ahead of the visit of Leeds, with Christos Tzolis and Kai Havertz both missing due to injuries sustained while representing their respective country. Declan Rice looks set to be available after withdrawing from England duty due to load management as opposed to an injury.
Ezri Konsa is a doubt for Arsenal vs Leeds, due to an ongoing dead leg issue.
Leeds on the other hand appear to have got off lightly with no new injury concerns following the extended international break. Ilia Gruev played for Bulgaria, his first minutes in senior football since suffering a meniscus knee injury earlier this year. Jaka Bijol has not been selected by Daniel Farke in recent weeks and has been an unused sub in the last two games, but gained valuable playing time for Slovenia.
Noah Okafor has withdrawn from playing for Switzerland, while Murat Yakin is the manager, so he enjoyed an extended break, along with James Justin and Jayden Bogle.

Chelsea vs Bournemouth
Chelsea endured a frustrating first few weeks before the international break, with some scintillating forward play on display. However, the same defensive frailties remained for the Blues, who dropped a number of points in the first few games. Bournemouth remain winless, but they deserve more, having pushed Manchester City all the way on the opening day. They also recorded a brilliant win in the Europa League against Real Sociedad.
Xabi Alonso will be hopeful to call upon Moises Caicedo, with the Blues missing the Ecuadorian midfielder, who has missed most of the season so far with a calf injury. Emmanuel Emegha could make his competitive debut for Alonso’s team, with it doubtful that Joao Pedro has recovered from a knee injury.
Cole Palmer has been working in the Caribbean with a specialist fitness coach, and it remains to be seen if he will be fit in time for the weekend. Alonso will likely get a big boost with the return of talented wing-back Marco Palestra, who has been missing so far with a quad injury.
For The Cherries, they will be without influential midfielder and Chelsea target Alex Scott, who sustained a quadriceps injury away with England, and is set to be out for six weeks. Eli Junior Kroupi and Amine Adli are due back for Marco Rose soon, but the weekend trip to West London is likely to come too soon for the pair. Rose spoke before the international break, confirming neither would be back for the Chelsea game:
“Not right after the national break, but quite soon when we start to play again. Amine feels okay, so I think during October, we get these guys back. Junior maybe needs some days longer, but he should still do some games in this year.”
Veljko Milosavljevic remains a doubt, while Julian Araujo is out of the Chelsea game.
