The summer departure of Andy Robertson marked the end of an era for Liverpool, stripping the club of one of its most influential leaders and defining figures of the modern age.

While there is hope that Milos Kerkez can become Liverpool’s leading left-back in years to come, it hasn’t stopped the club from showcasing interest in the next big talents in that role.

That’s why transfer interest has emerged in New England Revolution star Peyton Miller, with TEAMtalk also claiming that Arsenal are in the hunt for his signature.

Rousing The Kop have provided a lowdown for Liverpool supporters who aren’t aware of who the highly-rated teenager from Connecticut is.

Peyton Miller profile amid Liverpool transfer interest

It has been reported by TEAMtalk that Miller is ‘pretty clear’ that he is looking to make an ‘eye-catching’ move, as he rises in the MLS and on the international stage.

There are ‘a number of leading clubs’, not just in England, but also across Europe, looking at the left-back after coming through the New England Revolution at the age of 15.

Name: Peyton Miller

Date of Birth: 08-11-2007 (18)

Club: New England Revolution

Position(s): Left-back, left-sided and right-sided midfield

Height: 5 ft 5 in

Preferred foot: Left

International debut: Vs Peru (26/09/26)

Clubs played for: New England Revolution

Miller is currently on a high because, during this long three-week international break, he earned his maiden cap for the USMNT.

Mauricio Pochettino handed the teen his first start against Peru, playing just over an hour during a 4-1 win, before coming on as a sub against Mexico last time out.

According to WhoScored, Miller has two strengths and three weaknesses to his game so far, and of course, this could and should change in the coming years.

Strengths: Aerial Duels and Ball Interception.

Weaknesses: Crossing, Discipline and Tackling.

It also needs to be noted that Miller has been playing in attacking roles for New England this season, and it’s a key reason why Pochettino called him to the national side.

Perhaps in the future, he sees himself playing further forward, but so far, left-back is his speciality, and his talents are attracting some of the big boys.

New England career games: 64

Goals: 9

Assists: 9
