The Best Members’ Clubs Halloween Parties Worth Dressing Up For

©Home House

October 30 and 31 will be turned into a full ‘Hallo-weekend’ of late-night parties and suitably over-the-top celebrations at some of the world’s top members’ clubs, from London to New York and beyond. Because while the cooler Autumnal weather might call for pumpkin carving at home, nothing beats a proper costume party…

The best luxury Halloween parties around the world

Annabel’s

London, UK

Annabel’s is throwing not one, but two Halloween parties, continuing its annual celebration with Don Julio 1942. On October 30, the members’ club will be transformed into an upside-down wonderland, with wicked characters and creatures of the night roaming 46 Berkeley Square. Night two will begin with Halloween-themed dining, followed by a special edition of After Dark in The Nightclub.

And, much like Christmas, the townhouse’s façade will be given a suitably elaborate Halloween makeover. What will it be wearing? You’ll have to wait and see.

Home House

London, UK

This London members’ club is turning to the toybox for Halloween, with an entire evening inspired by the playthings of the 1980s. Revellers are encouraged to “explore their home,” with different areas of the house dedicated to forgotten toys, accompanied by themed food and drinks alongside live entertainment throughout the night.

Expect giant teddy bears, marching toy soldiers, acrobats, and, naturally, plenty of creepy dolls. Just remember: not everything in the toybox is as innocent as it first appears.

The Ned

New York, Washington DC, and London

The Ned is taking Halloween global this year, with members-only parties planned across its clubs in London, New York, and Washington DC.

In the City of London on Friday, the club will toast the famous, infamous, and unforgettable with its ‘Dead Famous’ party. The dress code invites members to arrive as the famous face they were always destined to be. Cocktails will be flowing, in partnership with Bacardi, and revelers will be well fed with a suitably generous Ned feast.

Come Saturday, Ned’s Club NoMad in New York will take a darker turn with ‘Dead Poets Society’. Gothic romanticism is the brief, meaning velvet, lace, dramatic tailoring. and plenty of Victorian decadence. Austin Millz and TOKiMONSTA will provide the soundtrack, with dancing continuing late into the night.

Meanwhile, Ned’s Club Washington DC is making a full ‘Hallo-weekend’ of proceedings with its ‘Down the Rabbit Hole’ party, a sinister take on Alice in Wonderland. Members will wander through surreal scenes, from a Mad Hatter’s tea party to the Queen of Hearts’ red room, with surprises along the way. Two rooms will offer distinct soundtracks: one familiar, the other heading further down the rabbit hole with psychedelic house.

George

London, UK

Halloween at George promises to be bigger and better this year, with every inch of the club transformed into what it describes as a ‘wild nightmare’ (a good thing, one hopes). Guests can expect a fully-immersive Halloween experience, plus a few surprises being kept under wraps until the night itself.

The evening will be headlined by New York Grammy Award-winning DJ and producer David Morales, accompanied by flowing canapés and drinks courtesy of Casamigos.

Faena New York

New York, USA

Okay, while technically not a member’s club, we couldn’t resist adding this one in. On both October 30 and 31, Faena New York’s Living Room will shed its usual look and transform into a theatrical Halloween playground. Expect lots of live entertainment, with a ‘dress for fantasy’ theme providing good reason to take the costume particularly seriously.

Be sure to book El Secreto: Afterlife for you and your friends – the hotel’s private party room comes with its own DJ, live entertainment, canapés, caviar, and a seafood display, plus two-nights in one of Faena New York’s suites.
