Liverpool will look to build on successive victories when they host Manchester City on Sunday in their return after a three-week international break. The fixture presents a stern test for the Reds as they seek to maintain their recent momentum.
Andoni Iraola's side have recovered from a disappointing start to the campaign to climb to sixth in the table. But alongside their efforts on the pitch, Liverpool continue to feature prominently in speculation over potential signings.
With the January transfer window approaching, reports suggest the Reds are pursuing at least one major deal this winter. The ECHO rounds up the latest transfer developments surrounding Anfield ahead of this weekend's return to action.

'Unsellable' Ndour on Liverpool radar
One potential winter acquisition who has caught the eye at Anfield is Fiorentina midfielder Cher Ndour. However, the Reds will need to ward off interest from Juventus and Crystal Palace if they're to secure the Italy international.
La Repubblica reported Ndour was the only player at the Stadio Artemio Franchi considered 'unsellable' in the summer. That stance may be tested if the Reds intensify their pursuit, though, with a bid in the region of £30million alleged to be sufficient to secure his services.

The former Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica playmaker has established himself as an indispensable figure in Florence and is still only 22. Having been connected with a number of midfielders throughout the summer, Liverpool may well require reinforcements in the engine room come next year.
Experienced midfielder Wataru Endo is poised to depart Merseyside when his contract runs out at the close of this season. Questions will also linger over the future of Alexis Mac Allister, who will soon enter the final 18 months of his deal and had been tipped for a move away this year.
PSG retain a 50 per cent sell-on clause in Ndour's contract following his move to Fiorentina for around £3.5m last year. That should translate into a handsome windfall for Les Parisiens should he move on next year, with Liverpool well-placed to benefit.

TUDN has reported Liverpool have submitted a record-breaking offer for Mexico wonderkid Gilberto Mora. The 17-year-old has been linked with Arsenal, Barcelona and Real Madrid since bursting onto the scene at Tijuana as a schoolboy.
Mora became the youngest player to represent Mexico at a World Cup when he appeared for El Tri this summer. Interest in securing his signature continues to intensify as he prepares to celebrate his 18th birthday next week (Oct. 14).
Liverpool's bid is reportedly worth 'in excess of £38m', which would make him Liga MX's most expensive export. The attacking midfielder, who can also operate on the left wing, appears set to become one of the most sought-after prospects on the market in the near future.
Mora found the net in a 1-1 friendly draw against Colombia last month but was withdrawn from Mexico's other friendlies during the international break. TUDN's report suggested Mexico manager Rafael Marquez took that decision with transfer speculation in mind.
It's claimed that development "is an indication the deal is progressing," with a potential January switch being considered. However, Liverpool face some significant competition in the race they'll need to overcome in order to complete a deal.
