Arsenal attempted to sign Quansah last summer, but Leverkusen refused to sell him. The Gunners have since [secured the services of Ezri Konsa](https://footballtoday.com/2026/08/19/arsenal-agree-51m-deal-with-aston-villa-to-sign-ezri-konsa/.), but they still maintain an interest in the defender.

Liverpool and Chelsea are now said to be interested in the England international. Real Madrid have also scouted the 23-year-old.

The Reds did not trigger their buy-back clause for Quansah last summer, but could still re-sign him for €70 million next summer.

The Merseyside giants may not need a centre-back, but could be in the market for a right-back.

Ronald Araujo has been deployed there, with Jeremie Frimpong struggling while it remains to be seen whether Conor Bradley has can return to his best after his lengthy injury.

Quansah, who has impressed at right-back for both Leverkusen and the Three Lions, could be an attractive target for the Merseyside giants given his Liverpool connections.

Meanwhile, Chelsea could step up their interest in Quansah as they may need defensive reinforcement next summer.

The Blues have struggled defensively this season, and they may also need greater depth at centre-back, with manager Xabi Alonso preferring a three-man defence.

Quansah will be aiming to enjoy a brilliant campaign at Leverkusen to secure a move to one of Europe’s heavyweights.

The Liverpool academy graduate has been Leverkusen’s first-choice right-back this season. He has featured in six games across all competitions, providing one assist.

Quansah also started two of England’s UEFA Nations League matches during this international break.
