Arsenal and their players have broken and set many records over the last few years.
The Gunners are one of the best teams in the world, and after coming close for several years, they finally won the Premier League title in the 2025/26 season.
Mikel Arteta deserves the most praise for that accomplishment, while the likes of David Raya, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes and Declan Rice also contributed heavily.
Another player who played his part, albeit with very limited game time, was young Max Dowman, and he has now been honoured with a few records.
Max Dowman awarded three Guinness World Records
Max Dowman had his breakthrough campaign at Arsenal last season.
The teenager impressed everybody with his performances in the pre-season of 2025, and he deservedly got a few opportunities under Arteta. And he made the most of it.
Dowman didn’t just get to make his debut for the Arsenal first team, but he also made a significant contribution in the game against Everton at the Emirates Stadium at the back end of last season.
The 16-year-old delivered a stunning cross that led to Viktor Gyokeres scoring the opener. Then, he ran the length of the pitch to score his debut goal for the club.
Dowman has been a household name ever since, and his popularity will now further increase after Guinness World Records recognised his achievements from last season.
On Wednesday, Dowman was awarded Guinness World Records for being the:
Youngest player in the UEFA Champions League (15 years, 308 days)
Youngest player to win the Premier League (16 years, 144 days)
Max Dowman will have his eyes on another record this season
We are convinced that Dowman will break several more records in the coming years while playing for Arsenal. He is just that good.
The next one in his sights must be a Champions League record that is currently held by Ansu Fati, set when he used to play for Barcelona.
Fati is the youngest goalscorer in the history of the competition, having found the net at the age of 17 years and 40 days back in 2019.
Dowman has until February to break that record – all he needs to do is score a goal in the Champions League. We have a feeling he will do that as early as next week, when Arsenal take on Lille.
