Hello and welcome to today's live blog, bringing you the latest on Manchester City's appeal against the 114 charges they've been found guilty of. It's now been over a week since the guilty verdict against the club was confirmed by the Premier League.
The strong statement confirmed that the independent panel found City to have used 'sham' sponsorship deals to artificially inflate their revenue by nearly £900 million between 2009 and 2018. The club strongly deny the charges and have put in an appeal against the verdict.
There is a lot of talk over what could happen to City if their appeal is unsuccessful. Sanctions could range from a big fine to huge points deductions or even expulsion from the Premier League.
Latest comments from the agent of goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma say that City players have been given 'reassurances' from the club over the situation. The full city squad meet up for the first time since the verdict today.
Manager Enzo Maresca will also talk to the media for the first time on Friday, in his pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash against Liverpool at Anfield. The presser is likely to be dominated by the guilty verdict.
Stay right here for all of the latest throughout the day...
