The agent of Gilberto Mora, Rafaela Pimenta, has refused to be drawn into speculation surrounding the Mexican wonderkid and a potential transfer switch to Liverpool in the future.
It follows reports claiming that the Reds have lodged a $50 million bid for the youngster, having impressed with his rapid rise to the top in the past year.
The attacking midfielder is just 17, but he has already established himself as a regular presence for the Club Tijuana senior team, while he has made an impression with the Mexican national team in recent months.
Mora earned himself a place in the World Cup squad back in the summer, becoming one of the up-and-coming stars to watch for the host nation in the tournament.
In his displays, the youngster caught the eye with his confidence to ask for the ball and unlock defences, with several impressive performances that certainly suggested that he will have plenty of quality in the near future.
Clubs across the world have since mobilized for the possibility of a transfer switch, with reports emerging that Liverpool is among those seriously interested in a deal, with some even going as far as to say a $50 million bid has been prepared for Mora.
With the playmaker turning 18 later this month, he could officially join the Reds or any Premier League team as early as January, though the star's agent has refused to be drawn into discussions on a switch to Anfield.
Speaking to Record, agent Rafaela Pimenta said on the Liverpool and Mora links: "Please understand that I don't comment on transfer rumors. I won't say anything at all about the transfer of any player. Thank you very much for your understanding."

It doesn't quite clarify the stance on Mora's future, while rumors continue to surround the youngster and where he could end up next in his career.
Links with Liverpool come as little surprise, however, given that the Merseyside outfit is looking to build a team that can compete for years to come, needing to land younger talent to replace a previous generation of stars as a result.
The groundwork has already been done at academy level, with the Reds pushing for deals from other teams in the youth department, with Rio Ngumoha's move from Chelsea and Trey Nyoni's switch from Leicester City both prime examples of landing players before they break out.
Mora could well be the next, though the fact that he has already played to such a high level means he won't be a cheap option on the transfer market.
It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will make a firm offer, and whether it will be accepted, but the race is on for which team can land Mora.
