Mikel Arteta has officially signed a new long-term contract at Arsenal. The club secures the future of probably the most important figure at the Emirates.
The former midfielder has been their manager since 2019. He was a rookie coach and was brought in to replace Unai Emery at the Emirates.
Arteta’s Rise and Achievements
Arsenal has given Arteta enough time to mature into one of the top coaches on the continent. He led them to win the league last season for the first time in two decades.
His team also reached the final of the Champions League and the Carabao Cup in the same campaign. Arsenal believes they are truly close to becoming a dynasty.
His previous deal was due to expire at the end of this season. He has now signed an extension until 2030. It was never in doubt that he would stay.
