Jurgen Klopp now has a permanent tribute at the LFC Museum at Anfield, as the club has unveiled a small statue for the manager on the 11th anniversary of his appointment.
ā
The bronze statue, which depicts the manager tapping his chest with one hand and raising a fist with the other, is a replica of the one given to the man himself as a gesture of gratitude for the moments he brought to the club, and was donated by the supporters' union, Spirit of Shankly.
It is 18 inches tall and will be displayed alongside other key memorabilia of Klopp's era as Liverpool head coach, helping to preserve some of the history that was created.
In the display, there are medals from winning the Premier League and the Champions League, along with medals from domestic cup success that was achieved along the way.
There are also some items well-associated with Klopp, including his Liverpool hat, a pair of boots, and the shirt he wore on his farewell that reads: "Thank you Luv."
It's a touching tribute that continues to show off the work of the German head coach, with the 11th anniversary bringing about a moment for reflection on all that he achieved on Merseyside.
The 59-year-old joined Liverpool in 2015, looking to get the team back to the very top of the Premier League after a few near-misses in seasons gone by.
It took some time, with the foundations being set by the transfer activity in the background, while the manager had to execute the plan on the pitch with his high-pressing, high-intensity brand of soccer that changed the way the game was viewed in England.
Steady progress was made until Liverpool finally got its chance to win big again. A Champions League title in 2018/19 kickstarted it all, with the Premier League title, a UEFA Super Cup, and the Club World Cup all following the year after.
The double was completed in 2021/22, when the Reds won both domestic cups, while a Community Shield and EFL Cup rounded off the head coach's stint on Merseyside.

Klopp ended his career at Liverpool with 489 matches in charge, winning 303 of those, drawing 101, and losing 85 of them along the way.
Having required some rest after a nine-year spell at Anfield, the manager took on several new roles, working as the Global Head of Soccer for the Red Bull group of clubs, as well as a pundit for the World Cup over the summer.
However, after taking two years off, the Liverpool icon is back in management, taking over the German national team. āI missed nothing, but I realised I still love what Iām doing,ā he recently said upon making his return.
It remains to be seen what comes next in the Klopp story, but his time with Liverpool will forever be remembered as one filled with happy memories, with that now being immortalized at Anfield.
