Liverpool has been tipped to raid Bournemouth once again in a future transfer window, as Andoni Iraola continues to shape the team in his image.

The Reds have been trying to match the manager's demands early on this season, with clear principles set out that demand intensity in the press and in every aspect of the way the team plays. It has had some mixed results and performances so far, with the Merseyside outfit remaining unbeaten this campaign, but with some adjustments still needed to fully execute what Iraola wants to see on the pitch.

Some of that may come with time on the field, with players capable of taking on instructions that will ensure that they can carry out what the manager has asked. However, it could also require some help from outside of the current squad to match the philosophy the head coach has in mind.

That's where future transfer windows could come into play, with several key areas that need to be addressed to give Iraola the best chance possible of succeeding.

While the midfield and right-wing may be a priority moving forward, the full-back areas remain problematic too. At right-back, Liverpool hasn't quite found the right balance to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold after his exit last summer.

Meanwhile, at left-back, Milos Kerkez hasn't quite hit the heights over the past year, with doubts persisting over his place in the team. That could see the Reds enter the market once again, with a possible return to Bournemouth for a replacement on the cards.

According to a report from TeamTalk, Liverpool is showing interest in Cherries left-back Adrien Truffert, with the French defender seemingly in demand.

It's claimed that the Reds could raid Bournemouth again to land the man who replaced Kerkez there, though a deal would cost in the region of $79 million if it were to go through in the January window.

Liverpool isn't the only team interested, as Manchester United is claimed to be in the mix, having been on the hunt for a long-term successor to Luke Shaw at left-back. Other teams are also believed to be monitoring a switch for the defender.

It brings about an interesting situation for Iraola, who could land another star who impressed with his coaching, but without an exact guarantee that performances will translate - as Kerkez himself has shown.

Truffert isn't the first, nor is he likely to be the last, Bournemouth player linked with a transfer to Liverpool. Midfielder Alex Scott and winger Rayan are being heavily rumored with interest from the club as options to deal with other problems areas in the team.

Considering the amount of problem areas the Reds have in the squad, it remains to be seen whether signing another left-back for a big sum of money is likely. However, it underlines the challenge that the sporting director now has in spreading resources across a squad that needs some work.
