Jarell Quansah has been superb since Bayer Leverkusen took a chance on him and signed him from Liverpool, with his progress now earning him a place in the England squad for the 2026 World Cup.
The defender has also attracted attention from Arsenal, who have been monitoring his situation. Caught Offside reports that Quansah could be sold at the end of this season, providing a major boost for the Gunners as they continue to chase his signature.
Chelsea are also interested in a move for the centre-back, but the situation will ultimately depend on whether Leverkusen are willing to sell and whether Quansah wants to return to the Premier League.
During the summer, Quansah was already open to returning to England, but a move did not happen because Leverkusen wanted him to remain with the club for another season.
Leverkusen change their stance
However, the situation could now be changing. The report claims that Leverkusen have softened their stance and are prepared to allow Quansah to leave the club in the summer of 2027.
That would give Arsenal a realistic opportunity to bring the defender back to the Premier League, although they are unlikely to be alone in the race for his services.
Quansah has continued to develop since making the move to Germany, and his performances have strengthened his reputation. His inclusion in England’s World Cup squad also highlights how far he has progressed since leaving Liverpool.

Arsenal face growing competition
Arsenal are currently one of the main suitors for the defender, but more clubs are expected to show interest as the season progresses.
The Gunners therefore know they will need to remain vigilant if they want to secure Quansah. Competition for his signature could increase considerably before the summer transfer window arrives.
Chelsea’s interest gives Arsenal another challenge, while Quansah’s own preference will also play an important role in determining where he ends up.
For now, Leverkusen remain in control of the situation, but their reported willingness to sell in 2027 gives Arsenal renewed hope.
