Robbie Savage is convinced his Peterborough United team can heap more pressure on Russell Martin and his former club Leicester City.
Savage takes charge of an EFL game for the first time in his management career, when League One’s second-bottom side face a team most tipped for promotion at the start of the season.
Instead the Foxes are yet to hit their stride and with Martin facing criticism for his possession-based style, Savage has told his players not to be overawed at the King Power Stadium this weekend.
“This group have got to believe,” he told the club website. “I believe in them, the fans believe in them. Go to Leicester let’s be us, let’s think about us, let’s not worry who we are playing.

“We are not going to Real Madrid or Barcelona, we are going to Leicester City, a wonderful football club with a very, very good manager.

“I have seen some clips this week, they have had 135 shots in five games but we can do that as well.
“Yes they are a good side but so are we. Let’s go there, let’s respect them but let’s go with the belief that we can win.
“If we can get the first goal there will be an edginess about them, let’s play on that, let’s press high, let’s win the ball, let’s score goals, let’s be Peterborough United and implement our style on them.
“We know how they play, we know how they want to build, they have got a brilliant manager, he was managing in the Premier Leaue not so long ago, people will say I was in Step Three. So what an opportunity for us to go there and show how good we are. Never mind about the opposition. Let’s have a go, let’s be The Posh.”
And Savage, who has only ever managed in the Northern Premier and National Leagues, didn’t stop there, adding: “Let’s be fair, probably nobody outside of this building nationally will give us a chance but I think we can, I really do, why not? What have we got to lose? We can win this game there is no doubt about it in my mind.”
