The good news: [Chris Olave](https://www.nola.com/tncms/asset/editorial/64d64f74-f1e7-4d16-8d29-dff6c562459d/) and Alvin Kamara practiced Thursday for the New Orleans Saints after missing the previous day's session.

The bad news: Olave was limited and popped up on the report with a new injury.

A day after Saints coach Kellen Moore said the wide receiver sat due to rest, Olave was listed as a limited participant with a foot injury.

Moore was not available to speak with reporters Thursday, so there was no clarification on whether Olave suffered the injury in Thursday's practice or if the issue stemmed from Monday's blowout loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

Moore said Olave was "fine" after taking a hard hit with two minutes left in the game, even though the wideout was slow to get up and did not re-enter the contest.

Asked Monday why he left the starters in so late in a blowout, Moore said he wanted the unit to play some "clean football" at the end of the game.

On Wednesday, when Olave did not participate, Moore repeatedly insisted the absence was only related to rest.

Elsewhere, Kamara (back soreness) returned as a limited participant. He was one of seven limited players, joining Olave, Granderson, safety Julian Blackmon (shoulder), wide receiver Barion Brown (thigh), tight end Noah Fant (abdomen) and guard Jeremiah Wright (concussion).

Quarterback Tyler Shough, meanwhile, was upgraded to a full participant after he was listed with a left hand injury.
