The 2026 NFL Trade Deadline is approaching, as we are a little more than one month away from the Nov. 10 deadline. While discussing the speculation of his career, Marvin Harrison Jr. shot down any concern of being traded, discussing how he is not paying attention to any of the noise.
“Truthfully, I pay it no mind. I’m only focused on Detroit, helping the Cardinals win football games at the moment. So whatever rumors you’re talking abiout, I don’t pay it no mind.”
ESPN has reported that the Arizona Cardinals are not shopping the former fourth-overall pick, but teams are reaching out as they continue doing their due dilligence. However, speculation continues to ramp up as he hired agents for the first time in September after representing himself.
Harrison Jr. has been unable to be involved in the Cardinals’ offense as he played in all four games, but recorded five catches on 12 targets for 85 yards (17.0 yards per reception) with a receiving touchdown. Those 12 targets rank fifth for the team thus far. One of the teams that have reportedly shown interest in the former Buckeye wideout is the Indianapolis Colts, the team that his father played for.
It will be interesting to see if things change on the Marvin Harrison Jr. trade front. He has one more season under contract, but the fifth-year option needs to be decided upon this upcoming offseason, which could lock him under contract through the 2028 season. Will the Arizona Cardinals be the team that winds up making that decision?
