After five games, including a breakout performance last night in Dallas, Bucs running back Bucky Irving is having a special season.
Irving ran 21 times for 165 yards and a touchdown on Thursday night. That bumped him to 406 rushing yards this season. That puts Irving on pace for 1,380 yards rushing over 17 games, about 250 yards more than he had in his special 2024 rookie year.
That’s All-Pro territory.
Last night’electricity was the best game of Bucky’s career and included his first-ever game with a TD catch _and_ a TD run. Irving did it all. In fact, he took his first carry inside the opponent’s 5 yard line since 2024. It was the fourth 100-plus yard performace of his career.
Joe loves how Bucky now has 10 days rest and a mountain of confidence before the Bucs face Pittsburgh on Sunday, Oct. 18.
