Welcome to our live coverage of David Moyes' Everton press conference. The Blues boss will join us at Finch Farm at 1.30pm.
It is being staged to preview the Blues' trip to Hull City on Sunday as they return to Premier League action after the international break. But, let's face it, the initial questions posed to Moyes at the very least will be about today's huge news that owners, The Friedkin Group, are open to selling the club.
Chris Beesley is at Finch Farm to hear what the Glaswegian has to say on that and the latest Everton team news ahead of the trip to the newly promoted Tigers with injury doubts over Vitalii Mykolenko and Merlin Rohl.
Key Events
Stuart from Premier League Productions is up now.
Moyes says Hull have thoroughly deserved their results.
Moyes says Hull have been really great. They have started the season so well and while it is a tough game, he thinks Everton are in good form.
Moyes says that Vitalii Mykolenko has a chance for Hull City and the extra day could help him. He's not sure whether Christian Norgaard is quite ready and if he had his way, he'd give him a bit of extra time.
The Everton manager feels that the new-look international break was too long and feels everyone is a bit fed up. He understands it is needed with larger international tournaments.
Moyes talks about having to go to Manchester City as an opposition manager and says you had to park the bus because they were so good.
Moyes is now asked about Manchester City. He says he hopes it's not just Everton who gets picked on, he feels they get picked on by referees but he is perplexed by how long it has taken to come out.
Moyes says it's a great club and it's worth buying. If anyone wants to buy, he'll be the first one to recommend Everton.
Moyes says he hasn't thought about his new contract but is pleased with how the players have been doing. He hopes they will be galvanised by it all.
Moyes says he doesn't feel disappointed by it but he feels for Evertonians as they've been through so much.
He adds that they had a season without drama - other than the Burnley payment in June - and feels for the fans going through another period not knowing about the owners.
Moyes says his ambition coming back was to be challenging for Europe but admits it has been a difficult summer and only found out this morning.
David Moyes says he was surprised to see the owners' statement given that they came in less than two years ago, and thought we'd be expecting to see them at Everton for 20-30 years!
He suggests what happened in the transfer window was perhaps a sign...
The Everton manager is in the room.
Alan Myers of Sky Sports up first in the open section of the press conference.
Just a reminder, David Moyes' press conference was due to start at 1.30pm. It appears the Blues boss is running a little late.
Unlike at some other clubs, these press conferences don't tend to start on time often at Everton but who knows, maybe they will keep us on our toes today? We've reached the 1:30pm official start time. How much longer will we have to wait?
Just looking back through the records and David Moyes enjoyed a couple of big wins over Hull City first time around as Everton manager.
In the 2009/10 season, the Blues trumphed 5-1 at Goodison Park but they also enjoyed a 4-0 victory at what is now MKM Stadium in the League Cup as Yakubu scored his first goal following a major injury. Unfortunately the Nigerian international striker was never quite the same player again that he had been before.
Things are building up here at Finch Farm. Along with Alan Myers from Sky Sports and Giulia Bould from BBC Radio Merseyside, I'm joined by Greg O'Keeffe from the Athletic, Ian Whittell from the Times and Simon Mullock, formerly of the Sunday Mirror.
Like Paul said, we'll have to wait and see whether Everton manager David Moyes provides any fitness updates on his players ahead of Hull City.
Vitalii Mykolenko, the only recognised left-back in the squad, who has played every minute so far this season, played Ukraine's first game of the international break but was then sidelined for the following three.
Also, Christian Norgaard, who is yet to play a competitive match since his summer switch from Arsenal, made his Blues debut in the behind closed doors 3-3 draw with Blackburn Rovers at Hill Dickinson Stadium a week ago.
The Friedkin Group announced on September 23 that they had an agreement to purchase Farhad Moshiri's entire stake in Everton
Dan Friedkin, left, and son Ryan Friedkin, of The Friedkin Group
I've written a comment piece about The Friedkin Group's sale statement and what is needed next following this morning's announcement.

Good afternoon everyone from Finch Farm, Everton's training base in Halewood.
Blues boss David Moyes is officially due up at 1:30pm to preview his unbeaten side's trip to Hull City on Sunday.
I'll be there for you in East Yorkshire to provide match coverage.
In the meantime, there is plenty to discuss both on and off the pitch with Everton owners The Friedkin Group announcing this morning that they are considering a sale of the club.
So as well as Vitalii Mykolenko, I'm hoping we'll hear about whether Merlin Rohl is also fit after a spell on the sidelines.
And whether Christian Norgaard is fit to make his first competitive start for the club.

What The Friedkin Group sale statements says about their time at Everton
While we've got a bit of time before the press conference starts, I'd recommend giving THIS a read by our Everton reporter, Chris Beesley.
Welcome to our live coverage of David Moyes' press conference.
And here was me thinking the big story to come out of it would be whether Vitalii Mykolenko is fit for Sunday's trip to Hull City.
Now, here's hoping the Ukraine international is fine, and he is able to take his place in an unchanged Everton defensive line-up.
But there's no doubt about it - the big story is the news that the Blues' owners, The Friedkin Group, are willing to sell the club.
Everton released a statement all about it this morning.
You can read that HERE.
And from 1.30pm, we will hear what Moyes, the manager who has led the Blues to a seven-game unbeaten start to the season, makes of it all.
