New Orleans Saints running back [Alvin Kamara](https://nola.com/tncms/asset/editorial/c864bb2e-242f-4d2e-8278-41c7ca2cd722) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings after the 31-year-old was limited the last two days with a back injury.
Kamara was one of six players the Saints listed as questionable, joining safety Julian Blackmon (shoulder), wide receiver Barion Brown (thigh), linebacker Jaylan Ford (ankle), cornerback Lorenzo Styles (calf) and defensive tackle Christen Miller (illness).
The Saints, too, will be without linebacker Kaden Elliss (calf), defensive end Anfernee Jennings (knee) and rookie guard Jeremiah Wright (concussion). Elliss and Jennings will miss their second straight contest, while Wright suffered his injury during Thursday’s practice.
But in good news for the Saints, wide receiver Chris Olave (foot) and quarterback Tyler Shough (left hand) are good to go against the Vikings. Tight end Noah Fant (abdomen) and defensive end Carl Granderson (ankle) will also suit up after missing Monday’s loss to the Atlanta Falcons with injuries.
The Saints, meanwhile, must decide whether to activate Ford and Styles from injured reserve. The two suffered injuries in the preseason that have kept them out for at least the first four weeks. Both players, however, were full participants throughout practice this week.
As for Kamara, the running back’s injury is different than the knee ailment that he dealt with during the Falcons. Coach Kellen Moore said Wednesday — the day Kamara missed practice — that Kamara told the team he was experiencing “back soreness” afterward.
The running back has only 25 carries for 74 yards and two touchdowns this season.
