Friday’s minor moves:
Denver Broncos
Signed from practice squad: WR Lil’Jordan Humphrey
Philadelphia Eagles
Signed from practice squad: C Jake Majors, RB Carson Steele
San Francisco 49ers
Released: DT Ogbonnia Okoronkwo
Okoronkwo started the year on the 49ers’ practice squad shortly after reuniting with defensive coordinator Raheem Morris, under whom he began his career in Los Angeles with the Rams. With five different names across the defensive line starting the season either on injured lists or with injury designations, Okoronkwo quickly found his way to the 53-man roster. As San Francisco starts the process of returning players to its defensive front, Okoronkwo has been let go to make way. As a vested veteran, he’ll be able to sign back to the taxi squad immediately, if he wants to remain with Morris.
