Jaylen Brown retaliates against Anthony Edwards' Adidas diss
Last month, Anthony Edwards notably had a viral new commercial for Adidas to promote his latest signature shoes. Operating a fictional late-night talk show called "Minnatlantasota," Edwards poked fun at several fellow NBA stars.
He particularly joked that LeBron James didn't sign with the Minnesota Timberwolves this past offseason because "his knees couldn't handle the cold weather." Beyond James, he also jabbed Jaylen Brown, whom he referred to as the "ol' boy from Boston."
"We know why he really made that decision. Philly got some of the best barbers in the world. Between him and ol' boy from Boston, they gonna have a lotta enhancements going on in the locker room," Edwards said, referring to Brown’s hair spray rubbing off on several opponents’ jerseys last season.
