The Premier League is finally back after an extended three-week international break, with fans of all clubs desperate for the action to get underway once again.

‌

It'll be Arsenal and Leeds kicking off the weekend of matches, as the Emirates Stadium plays host to two teams keen that are keen to pick up momentum once again.

For the Gunners, the clash represents a chance to bounce back from the uncharacteristic 3-0 defeat to Brighton last time out, adding a disappointing end to an otherwise fine start to the season. With Mikel Arteta fresh from penning a new contract extension, the manager will be hopeful that another three points can follow.

Leeds won't be a pushover by any stretch of the imagination, however, with the Yorkshire side sitting fifth in the Premier League with two wins and three draws from the opening five matches. Built on physicality and a clinical edge, Daniel Farke seems to have cracked the code for how to get a team competing in the top division.

So, with that said, here's a look at everything you need to know ahead of Arsenal vs Leeds in the first match of the Premier League weekend.

What time is kick-off?

The game is scheduled to kick off at 12:30 p.m. U.K. time (BST) at the Emirates Stadium. For fans in the US, that is 7:30 a.m. Eastern Time and 4:30 a.m. Pacific Time.

Team news

Arsenal has been facing a whole host of injury and fitness concerns during the early weeks of the season, with Arteta having to find a balance within his team along the way.

William Saliba is still unavailable after a back injury during the World Cup, while Christos Tzolis is the latest to join him on the sidelines, with the Greek international confirmed to be out for a few weeks with a muscular problem.

There have been concerns over the likes of Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, Ezri Konsa, Ben White, Cristhian Mosquera, and Max Dowman, but Arteta suggested all six players could be involved against Leeds, with late assessments in place for a few to check on their condition.

As for Leeds, Farke brought about some mixed news for his team's travels to the capital. The manager confirmed that both Daniel James and Joe Rodon would miss out on the trip to Arsenal, as both look to recover from injuries that will likely see them back in action sometime this month.

There are returns for Harry Wilson and Jean-Matteo Bahoya on the cards, however, with the pair in contention for the Whites against the Gunners.
