Ravens Fan Spends Final Minute at Council Meeting to Demand More Derrick Henry Usage 1
There is never an odd place for at least one man to talk about his beloved Baltimore Ravens.
During a recent council meeting at Anne Arundel County in Maryland, an apparent Ravens fan used some of his time on the mic to urge Baltimore to be better at their usage of star running back Derrick Henry.
“With the last minute, since we want to, you know, spend a lot of time on these zoning bills as we move forward, all those things, I just want to make sure that we know that the Baltimore Ravens don’t utilize Derrick Henry the way that they should,” the man said.
“Derrick Henry is a monster running back. He really needs to get up the A-gap. So please, please, please, can we make sure that Derrick Henry is utilized the way that he should be? Let’s get a fullback back here. Let’s get John, I mean, maybe we need John Harbaugh back,” he added before his mic got muted.

It may not be the right avenue to discuss anything related to football, but the fan may have a valid point.
After rushing for 144 yards and three touchdowns on 32 carries (6.0 yards per carry) in Week 1’s Ravens win over the Indianapolis Colts on the road, Henry has averaged just 3.5 yards per rushing attempt in three games, collecting 230 rushing yards to go with four touchdowns over that span.
The Ravens are fourth in the league with 153.5 rushing yards per outing. Henry and that rushing attack by Baltimore will be put to the test this coming Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The Falcons have the best rushing defense in the NFL, at least on paper, having allowed an NFL-best 48.3 rushing yards per game through four weeks.
