Arsenal return to Premier League action this afternoon, hosting Leeds at the Emirates.
It has been a frustrating international break for the Gunners, who have been hit with a handful of new injuries as wide swathes of the squad spent time representing their nations.
This match, however, will be Mikel Arteta’s first since signing a new four-year contract to stay on as the club’s manager.
The new deal has seen him rewarded for his title-winning heroics last season and will make him one of the best-paid managers in the Premier League. It will also take his tenure with the Gunners beyond a decade.
It may seem a distant memory now, but Arsenal were hit with a brutal 3-0 defeat away at Brighton last time out, and they will be desperate to get back to winning ways here against Daniel Farke’s unbeaten Leeds.
The Yorkshire outfit have injury concerns of their own, though, with Daniel James and Joe Rodon both due to miss out and the playmaker Harry Wilson a doubt to make the trip south.
