Stephen Curry addressed the NBA's recent streak of different champions, calling league-wide parity great for fan interest. However, the four-time champion joked that he hopes no new dynasty emerges so Golden State can get back into the title picture.

Stephen Curry was the main part of the Golden State Warriors dynasty, which won four NBA titles from 2015 until 2022 with no other team replicating their multiple championship success since.
Now, as he seeks to win another championship for the Warriors after a few difficult seasons, Curry spoke to NBC Sports about the parity in the league with there being different champions every year since 2019 and if there is potential for another dynasty to appear.
"I hope not. That means we're not in the championship conversation," Curry Joked about a potential dynasty emerging.
"I don't know. That's a good question. I'm not really good at predicting stuff in the sense of how the league is going. Just knowing, I don't know how many people were predicting once we won in '22, which was a string of however many since we started this thing, that there would be three more, or four more champions since then.
"That's great for the league as a whole, and it keeps the interest, it keeps every fanbase engaged, and that's why you see all the different movements from year to year. So, I think it's a good thing for the league, and hopefully we, I guess, end it at some point, 'cause that would be awesome to be back at the top."

Parity in the NBA
The last NBA team to win back-to-back titles was Curry's Warriors in 2017 and 2018. Since the Toronto Raptors took down Golden State in 2019, there have been eight different NBA champions in eight years.
With the newest CBA and its second apron, teams are forced to make trades or to let some players go in free agency after successful seasons.
Having harsher fines for being over the second apron, players like Bruce Brown have expressed frustration that it makes life much more difficult for mid-level players.
While not everyone is comfortable with the current financial rules, they seem to be one of the reasons why there is parity in the league.
