Cole Palmer has put pen to paper on a new bumper deal with Chelsea that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 2034. The England international was already under contract for the next seven years but has now extended his stay by a further 12 months.
The Blues have also offered Palmer improved terms, underlining his importance to the club and their plans for the future. Chelsea announced the news by sharing a video of Palmer on a livestream, where he confirmed he would be staying at Stamford Bridge for another eight years.
"Well, I just signed a new contract about 20 minutes ago, so I'm staying for eight more years," Palmer replied to a fan when asked how long he would be staying at the club.
"So hopefully we can sing that song a little bit more that yous sing. Yeah, new contract. We've got a new contract announcement on stream.
"Eight more years, it's the song you all sing at Stamford Bridge for so long. I thought I'd share it with the chat, why not? That's me guys.
"I'm really happy to sign a new contract and share with you guys and I look forward to eight more years. In a bit."
