The Jacksonville Jaguars host Sunday’s Eagles at Jaguars game in London with fantasy football managers set to start Trevor Lawrence, Bhayshul Tuten and Parker Washington, while Brian Thomas Jr. and Brenton Strange carry too much risk for most lineups.

Philadelphia ruled out Saquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith, Hollywood Brown and starting center Drew Kendall for the 9:30 a.m. ET kickoff, but All-Pro linebacker Zack Baun cleared the concussion protocol, and cornerback Quinyon Mitchell practiced fully on Friday.

Trevor Lawrence fantasy outlook in London

Lawrence ranks QB7 after completing 18 of 23 passes for 227 yards and a touchdown in last Sunday’s 22-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. He averaged 9.9 yards per attempt, but Jacksonville’s limited dropbacks held down his fantasy total.

Philadelphia allows 21.2 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks, 13th-most, with four passing touchdowns and two interceptions through four games. The Eagles also rank 26th in pressure rate (31.6%), which should help after the former Clemson star took four sacks in Cincinnati.

“They do a good job limiting big plays. They’re always a really good defense,” Lawrence said Wednesday of Vic Fangio’s defense.

Verdict: Start Lawrence as a QB1, though a lopsided game script could trim his pass attempts.

Should you start Bhayshul Tuten?

Tuten’s 19 touches for 91 total yards against Cincinnati undersold his day, because holding penalties erased two touchdown runs, including a 44-yarder. He also played a season-high 59% of the snaps and took 68% of Jacksonville’s designed carries.

Philadelphia allows 22.5 PPR points per game to running backs, 13th-most, and backs are averaging 4.1 yards per carry against the Eagles. The defense also has the fourth-highest missed tackle rate (17.9%) in the NFL, and nearly half of Tuten’s 277 rushing yards have come after a missed tackle.

Baun’s return strengthens Philadelphia’s linebacker group, but it doesn’t change Tuten’s role as the lead back.

Verdict: At RB17, Tuten is a confident RB2 start.

Chris Rodriguez Jr. Week 5 outlook

Rodriguez has scored in back-to-back games, and his 25-yard run gave Jacksonville a 22-10 lead with 6:25 left in Cincinnati. His other five carries produced 10 yards.

The backup has handled exactly six carries in three of four games without drawing a target. With Tuten taking most of the designed runs, Rodriguez needs a touchdown against a defense that has allowed three rushing scores to backs.

Verdict: Sit Rodriguez at RB39 in 12-team leagues. He’s a desperation flex only in deeper formats.

Why start Parker Washington this week?

Washington caught one of three targets for 7 yards against the Bengals while cornerback DJ Turner covered him on 63.6% of his routes. In the three games before that, Washington held a 27.2% target share and a 32.8% first-read share.

He still leads Jacksonville with 16 catches, 228 yards and two touchdowns. Philadelphia allows 37.0 PPR points per game to wide receivers, the 10th-most, with 52 catches, 649 yards and four touchdowns surrendered.

Mitchell’s return gives the Eagles an All-Pro cornerback, but Washington’s target volume before Week 4 makes him a strong bounce-back candidate.

Verdict: Start Washington as a WR1 at WR12.

Jakobi Meyers fantasy outlook vs. Eagles

Meyers has drawn a 23.1% target share and a 29.3% first-read share over the past two games, well above his 14.4% share for the season. He has 13 catches for 165 yards and two touchdowns through four games.

The veteran lines up in the slot on 32% of his snaps, which lets Jacksonville move him around the formation. He practiced fully on Wednesday and Thursday despite a thumb injury.

Verdict: Start Meyers as a WR3 or flex, especially in PPR leagues.

Is Brian Thomas Jr. worth starting?

Thomas caught a 7-yard touchdown pass last week, but his route share sat at 43.8% and 63% over the past two games, with target shares of 3.4% and 8.7%. He has nine catches for 105 yards this season.

Rookie Josh Cameron adds competition after turning five catches into 74 yards and two touchdowns.

“Every route, you know he’s running it to win,” Lawrence said of Cameron on Wednesday.

Verdict: Thomas ranks WR50, so bench him until his routes and targets climb.

Brenton Strange Week 5 streaming outlook

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange (85) celebrates his second-quarter touchdown | Engle/Florida Times-Union

Strange posted season highs with seven catches for 95 yards on eight targets against Cincinnati, finishing as the TE5 for the week. He holds a 17.3% target share and has 14 catches for 167 yards and a touchdown this season.

“He does a lot for our team,” Lawrence said after the win.

Philadelphia allows 7.9 PPR points per game to tight ends, fifth-fewest, with 16 catches for 156 yards and no touchdowns surrendered to the position.

Verdict: At TE19, sit Strange behind any top-12 tight end. He’s a fallback streamer in two-TE leagues.
