Arsenal battled back to earn a vital three points as they were pushed all the way by Daniel Farke's dogged Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium.

The Whites had taken the lead through James Justin on 55 minutes before the Gunners rallied and hit back via Riccardo Calafiori's header.

But in the style of true Premier League champions, Arsenal then motored onto victory as substitute Bruno Guimaraes riffled a low shot into the bottom corner following Declan Rice's exquisite flick.

football.london rates Mikel Arteta's players as they got back to winning ways in dramatic style following last month's 3-0 defeat at Brighton.

David Raya

Kept Arsenal in the game up until James Justin's opener. Made a top stop to keep out Gabriel Gudmundsson's back-post shot in the first half and was also equal to Ethan Ampadu's looping header and Ao Tanaka's drive. 7

‌

Ben White

There's a firm argument he is now Arsenal's first-choice right-back. Cute in possession and grabbed himself an assist before leaving the field as he teed up fellow full-back Riccardo Calafiori for the leveller. 7

Ezri Konsa

Relished the battle with England team-mate Dominic Calvert-Lewin and got the better of him. Strong in duels, read the game well, quick across the ground and smart in possession. 7

‌

Gabriel Magalhaes

Strong first-half but failed to head James Justin's opener off the line, though in fairness, there was serious venom in the strike. His confidence was impacted, however, as he then misplaced a routine pass much to the frustration of the crowd. Not his best game. 6

Riccardo Calafiori

Calafiori's eye-catching start to the season continued with another goal and his second of the week after netting in Italy's 3-1 win over Turkey in Bologna. There's a really strong and admirable rhythm to his game at the moment. He is capable of affecting the game at both ends of the pitch and that's all you can ask for in a full-back. 8

Declan Rice

It's not often Rice looks sloppy but he played like a player that's needed football, not rest, over the past three weeks. He was leggy and gave away the ball cheaply on several occasions. That said, he played a huge role in Arsenal's second as his cute flick teed up Bruno Guimaraes to rifle in and he finished the game strong. 6

Myles Lewis-Skelly

‌

A strange game. Hard to be too critical because Arsenal largely struggled when MLS was on the pitch as they were struggling to play through Leeds. It wasn't his fault though and he used the ball well. Had the space to shoot on several occasions but refused to pull the trigger. 6

Bukayo Saka

Looked as though he was lacking a bit of sharpness given he featured heavily for England over the course of the international break. Leeds' shape also made things difficult for the winger, who was short of room. Fired over a decent opening in the second half as the Whites' backline retreated. 6

Martin Odegaard

‌

Took too long in possession in the first half and at times, was guilty of picking the wrong pass. But he never went into hiding and was central to Arsenal's turnaround. Heavily involved in the second and nearly had a third for his side when a ball deflected off him and into the arms of James Trafford. 6

Noni Madueke

Started brightly with purposeful exchange with Martin Odegaard inside opening minutes. Put several dangerous deliveries into the box. Doesn't feel like a long-term natural solution on the left flank but still created danger and helped harvest the equaliser. 8

Kai Havertz

‌

Struggled by his standards. A huge boost for Arsenal to have him back on the pitch but he never really threatened outside of a header that was collected easily by James Trafford. 6

Substitutes

Bruno Guimaraes

‌

Game-changer. He helped Arsenal crank up the tempo and he got his rewards, driving home the goal that put the Gunners ahead. He also started the move, first nutmegging a defender, winning a free-kick and then applying a top finish after Declan Rice's cute flick. 9

Jurrien Timber

Still clearly lacking a bit of sharpness. Brought Gabriel Gudmundsson to ground with just over 10 minutes left to play. He's lacking his usual spring over the first few yards but that will come in good time as he continues to rebuild his fitness. 6

Viktor Gyokeres

‌

Awkwardly shanked the ball back towards his own box as he attempted to hook clear. Was otherwise involved in several promising breakaways. Unlucky not to start. 6

Piero Hincapie

Done well in the short amount of time he was on the pitch. 6

Mikel Merino
