Rodri 9.0, Gordon 8.5 | FC Barcelona 3-0 Getafe: Player ratings

FC Barcelona emerge victorious in their latest La Liga clash against Getafe. The Catalan giants, despite [not having Raphinha available](https://barcanewsnetwork.com/raphinha-ruled-out-for-two-games-as-barcelona-hope-to-have-him-back-for-crucial-fixtures/), were able to dominate their opponents at the Spotify Camp Nou.

A [3-0 win at home](https://x.com/FCBarcelona/status/2108988420576170068?s=20), goals from Anthony Gordon, Gabriel Jesus, and Jules Kounde ensured that Barça would take away all three points from this game. That being said, not every player managed to shine as brightly as they would have liked.

Here are the player ratings for Barcelona.

**Starting XI**

**Joan Garcia: 7.5/10**

Rarely tested by the opposition, but he did well to position himself well. Moreover, he was composed in terms of his distribution as well.

**Jules Kounde: 7.0/10**

Very weird performance from the Frenchman, who had some bright moments but was also questionable in a lot of other moments. He squandered a great opportunity in the game, but ended up redeeming his miss with a goal later on.

**Eric Garcia: 8.0/10**

Solid in defense and always did well to apply pressure at the right time on the Getafe players. Moreover, he was extremely useful in progressing the ball forward as well and presenting himself as a passing option.

**Gerard Martin: 8.0/10**

A reliable partner in defense for Eric Garcia, the Spaniard was doing quite well to help in distribution and his defensive contributions were plenty as well throughout the match.

**Xavi Espart: 8.0/10**

Clever on the flank and did quite well to link up with his teammates. Moreover, the youngster was consistently mindful of both his offensive and defensive duties throughout the match.

**Rodri: 9.0/10**

Top performance from the veteran Spaniard, he was always in control of the situation and did extremely well to frustrate Getafe. His distribution was exquisite, and his ability to control proceedings remains as elite as ever. Moreover, even when it came to winning duels, he was almost impossible to beat for the opposition.

**Gavi: 7.0/10**

Smart with his distribution and he was always eager to get on the ball. Looked sharp and collected, but still needs to add a little more bite to his final passes.

**Lamine Yamal: 7.5/10**

Not his brightest game for Barcelona thus far this season, but he was trying to make an impact throughout the match. Also managed to grab an assist courtesy of a wonderful cross from him into the path of Jules Kounde.

**Dani Olmo: 7.0/10**

Left a bit frustrated but not for a lack of trying. The Spaniard did exceptionally well to link up with his teammates in tight spaces and it enabled the rest of the team to function effectively. However, he came close to finding the back of the net himself as well.

**Anthony Gordon: 8.5/10**

Wonderful performance from the English forward, who managed to open the scoring for Barça and was a threat to the opposition throughout the match. His passing was efficient, and he often arrived in dangerous positions.

**Gabriel Jesus: 8.0/10**

The Brazilian forward continues to exceed expectations. Despite arriving for a very low cost this summer, his performances continue to impress and he continued that trend with a wonderful goal in this game and his work-rate defensively was commendable as well.

**Substitutes:**

**Fermin Lopez: 7.0/10**

Eager to make an impact and his intensity certainly gave Barça a late spark in this game as well.

**Pedri: 7.5/10**

Almost untouchable when he had the ball, Getafe was struggling to deal with him. Moreover, his magic paved the way for even more openings that Barcelona could not fully take advantage of.

**Marc Bernal: 6.0/10**

Replaced Rodri in midfield and did a good enough job to stabilise proceedings and help his teammates out.

**Karim Adeyemi: 6.5/10**

His speed created issues for Getafe and could have led to even more on another day.

**Hamza Abdelkarim: N/A**

Not enough time or influence on the game to warrant a rating.
