Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua (12) scores a touchdown during the first half of an NFL football game against the Philadelphia Eagles in Philadelphia, Sunday, Oct. 4, 2026.
Last week: 11-5 (.688)
Season record: 40-24 (.625)
SUNDAY
Philadelphia Eagles (2-2) at Jacksonville Jaguars (3-1), 9:30 a.m. in London — The Eagles seem to have too many weekly issues to be consistent, but that is nothing new. The sudden retirement of Lane Johnson is another example. The Jaguars are pretty darn good. They’ve won 11 of their past 12 regular season games.
Prediction: Jaguars, 35-28

Indianapolis Colts (2-2) at Steelers (2-2), 1 p.m. — The Steelers might get a preview of what it’s like to play the week following an international game, which is what the Colts are doing after their victory in London. The Steelers better hope Jonathan Taylor left his sea legs in England. The Steelers are 2-0 at home.
Prediction: Steelers, 30-24
Cincinnati Bengals (2-2) at Miami Dolphins (0-4), 1 p.m. — It hasn’t been an easy start for the Dolphins, who have lost all four games to teams that are a combined 15-1. And they’ve scored just a league-low 46 points in those games. The Bengals have lost two in a row, but the losses are by a combined eight points.
Prediction: Bengals, 29-13
Cleveland Browns (3-1) at New York Jets (1-3), 1 p.m. — The Browns don’t do it often, but they have a chance to make it four wins in a row for the first time since the 2023 season. And they should be rested after their Thursday night win against the Steelers. But don’t sleep on those Jets. They’re not that bad.
Prediction: Jets, 21-20
Houston Texans (0-4) at Tennessee Titans (0-4), 1 p.m. — It’s not surprising the Titans are 0-4. They are 12-43 since the 2023 season. Now, the Texans ... that’s surprising. Heading into the season, they were 32-19 since 2023. That they are one of five winless teams at the quarter mark is, well, surprising.
Prediction: Texans, 31-19
Chicago Bears (3-1) at Green Bay Packers (2-2), 1 p.m. — Since their wild 59-37 victory in the season opener, the Bears have allowed just 28 points in the past three games. Things might start to get a little testy at Lambeau Field if Matt LaFleur can’t put the “Go Pack Go” back in the offense. The Bears are 2-10 in their past 12 in Green Bay.
Prediction: Packers, 24-23
Las Vegas Raiders (3-1) at New England Patriots (2-2), 1 p.m. — That victory on the road in Buffalo is just what the Patriots — and quarterback Drake Maye — needed to get back to last year’s form. Even in defeat, the Raiders showed the Kansas City Chiefs and the rest of the league they aren’t a fluke, not with Kirk Cousins.
Prediction: Patriots, 24-23
Minnesota Vikings (4-0) at New Orleans Saints (1-3), 1 p.m. — The Vikings have allowed a league-low 51 points, and their point differential of plus-35 is fifth best in the NFL. But they haven’t scored a touchdown in two games. The Saints have allowed the most points in the league (128). They have allowed at least 30 points in three of their four games.
Prediction: Vikings, 30-15
New York Giants (3-1) at Washington Commanders (1-3), 1 p.m. — One more victory and the Giants will already equal their total from last season. And they’re doing it without Jaxson Dart. The Commanders are expected to have starting quarterback Jayden Daniels back from an elbow injury.
Prediction: Giants, 27-17
Denver Broncos (2-2) at Los Angeles Chargers (0-4), 4:05 p.m. — The Chargers can’t win at home. The Broncos can’t win on the road. One of the two will change after this. At least the Chargers’ offense is getting better. This is Denver’s fourth consecutive game against a 2025 playoff team.
Prediction: Chargers, 24-23
Detroit Lions (2-2) at Arizona Cardinals (1-3), 4:25 p.m. — No wonder people rumored Joey Porter Jr. going to the Lions. Their secondary got picked apart like a smokehouse rack of ribs by Bryce Young. They won’t have to worry about that so much against Jacoby Brissett. But tell those refs to stop saying bad things to Trey McBride.
Prediction: Lions, 32-21
San Francisco 49ers (4-0) at Seattle Seahawks (3-1), 4:25 p.m. — The 49ers are one of three unbeaten teams, but they have played three of their first four games at home. They have played well in Seattle, winning the past four regular season meetings there. That wasn’t the case in the 2025 postseason, though. They were trounced 41-6.
Prediction: Seahawks, 31-30
Baltimore Ravens (3-1) at Atlanta Falcons (2-2), 8:20 p.m. — Say this for the Falcons: When they win, they are very impressive. When they lose, they are very unimpressive. They have won their past two games by a combined 80-38. Previously, they lost two games by a combined 54-16. The Ravens are the best team in the AFC North.
Prediction: Ravens, 26-18
MONDAY
Buffalo Bills (3-1) at Los Angeles Rams (2-2), 8:15 p.m. — The Rams showed a lot of resolve coming from 10 points down on the road in Philadelphia. The win kept them from falling too far behind the 49ers and Seahawks in the division. The Bills couldn’t hold a lead against the Patriots and let them right back in the race in the AFC East.
Prediction: Rams, 34-33
