Erling Haaland says he is fine after Manchester City were found guilty of breaching over 100 rules, but is he really fine about the verdict? The England national team manager, Thomas Tuchel, had admitted that the City players in his squad are worried about the verdict, but when he broke his silence, Haaland said he was fine and calm.
He earns the highest salary in the Premier League, and there will be expectations of loyalty placed on him if the team is relegated, should that become the punishment. However, Haaland is considered one of the players who will leave because City just will not be able to fund keeping him in their squad, and the attacker may have made his decision already.
Haaland’s Public Stance and Inner Concerns
------------------------------------------
He appears calm about the situation as he and his teammates try to focus on football, but a psychologist tells [Nettavisen](https://www.nettavisen.no/sport/psykolog-om-erling-braut-haaland-han-ser-preget-ut/s/80-95-146741) that he is not in his best mental shape. According to the report, Haaland is certainly worried about the future, and the chaos at his club is a major source of concern for him in the last few weeks.
The contrast between his public composure and private concerns highlights the pressure players face in such situations. Haaland’s future is uncertain, and the possibility of leaving City looms large. His mental state is being watched closely, and the coming weeks could reveal more about his true feelings.
Transfer Speculation and City’s Future
--------------------------------------
He is one of the sellable players, and his sale could help the club fund their way back and save money, but he is also worried, and decisions like which club he will join next are on his mind. The uncertainty is weighing on him, and the psychologist’s assessment suggests the situation is taking a toll.
City’s financial troubles add another layer of complexity, and the club’s ability to retain top talent is in question. Haaland’s next move could be pivotal, both for his career and for City’s plans. The football world will be watching closely as developments unfold.
