Manchester City’s team news has been confirmed ahead of its highly anticipated Premier League clash with Liverpool

City travels to Anfield on Sunday for their first match since an independent commission found the club guilty of breaching the Premier League’s financial rules over a nine-season period between 2009/10 and 2017/18. City deny wrongdoing and have appealed the verdict, with Enzo Maresca’s side expected to face a hostile reception from Liverpool supporters.

Gianluigi Donnarumma starts in goal for Manchester City, with Matheus Nunes, Ruben Dias, Marc Guehi and Josko Gvardiol making up the defense. Enzo Fernandez and Elliot Anderson feature in midfield.

Antoine Semenyo starts after training on Thursday, suggesting he has recovered from the injury that forced him to withdraw from Ghana’s squad for their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header during the extended three-week international break.

Haaland starts despite concerns over his fitness after he was seen limping and asked to be substituted while on international duty with Norway last weekend. He will lead the line, with Rayan Cherki and Jeremy Doku providing support in attack.
