Minnesota Vikings: Reveal Week 5 Fate of Superstar 1

The (4-0) Minnesota Vikings play against the (1-3) New Orleans Saints at Caesars Superdome on Sunday in Week 5 of the regular season. One injury to monitor is Justin Jefferson, who exited Week 3 with an ankle injury and missed Week 4. Jefferson was a limited participant during Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday’s practices, prompting the Vikings to list him as questionable. The superstar was pushing to play in front of his hometown for the first time in his NFL career.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported earlier on Sunday that Justin Jefferson will take part in pre-game warm-ups, which will ultimately determine his fate in Week 5. According to Rapoport, Jefferson is officially active for the game against the Saints. Minnesota aims to start 5-0 for the first time since 2016.

Jordan Addison popped up on the injury report with hamstring soreness after playing 75 offensive snaps a week ago. Addison missed Wednesday but upgraded to a limited participant on Thursday and Friday, prompting the Vikings to list him as questionable. The star receiver, too, went through pre-game warm-ups but will not play.

In addition, Odell Beckham Jr. will not play despite being elevated on Saturday. The Vikings signed Beckham to the practice squad Wednesday after he spent the first three weeks with the Giants.
