Manchester City striker Erling Haaland shared his thoughts following the Cityzens' 3-0 Premier League win at Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday (October 11).
Following a goalless first period at Anfield, the floodgates opened shortly after Ryan Gravenberch's dismissal shortly past the hour mark, with Haaland breaking the deadlock in the 65th minute. Jeremy Doku doubled the visitors' advantage three minutes later before Rayan Cherki applied the coup de grace 12 minutes from time to keep Enzo Maresca's side three points clear at the top.
The backdrop of the game was heavily dominated by an independent commission finding City guilty of multiple breaches of the Premier League's financial rules during the period between 2009 and 2018, with the Cityzens reiterating their innocence and appealing against the verdict.
“Every single person part of Man City and every single fan, this is a lovely moment which will stay with us for a long time when it comes to the feeling after the game and in the game," Haaland told Sky Sports (as per transfer guru Fabrizio Romano). "I am so proud of everyone.”
The win extended City's perfect start to their league campaign to six matches after second-placed Arsenal had drawn level on points at the top with a 2-1 home win over Leeds United.

Manchester City head coach Enzo Maresca said that his team emerged victorious in a tough game and played better in the second half against Liverpool at Anfield.
Maresca, who had kicked off his reign at the Etihad in August with a 3-0 FA Community Shield loss to Arsenal at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, said (as per the BBC):
"Very difficult circumstances, difficult environment. We struggled first half, we were on the ball but not so much off the ball. Second half, we made some adjustments, and we were much better. In the build-up, we were not doing the right things, second half we were better.
"We need to learn how to deal with the noise because the noise will be with us at all of our away games - there will be noise. We need to deal with that and make our noise. Our noise is to win games. The feeling at the end of the game with our fans and our noise, that's a nice feeling and a different noise."
While Manchester City remain atop the standings after six games, Liverpool are down in ninth, nine points behind the league leaders.
