Liverpool's campaign is finally back underway after a three-week international break, with the Reds now looking ahead to plenty of challenging fixtures over the next month until the next interval.
Andoni Iraola will be learning plenty about his team as they continue to adapt to his methods of coaching and the principles of play that he is looking to give them.
While he will be hoping to get the most out of the players at his disposal, Liverpool may simply need to look externally for some of the solutions to the team's problems in the transfer market.
So, with the clubs already assessing targets for the future, here's a look at the latest Liverpool transfer news and rumors ahead of another busy day of action.
Jeremie Frimpong (Liverpool)

Jeremie Frimpong's difficult time at Liverpool looks set to get even tougher, as Football Insider claims that the Reds are already planning to sign a replacement for the defender in the months ahead.
The report claims that there are "ongoing concerns" surrounding the Netherlands international and his ability to hold down the right-back position, having lost his place so far this season to Ronald Araujo on that flank.
While Conor Bradley's return before the end of the year should provide some relief in that role, it's stated that work is already being done to consider options there. While a deal could be pursued in the January window, it's believed that a move in the summer is more likely.
Liverpool.com says: Frimpong's difficulties from last season moving into this season have created a challenge for both Arne Slot and Andoni Iraola to find a solution to.
While the former couldn't find the right balance, the latter has opted for other options there instead, perhaps showing the challenge that the defender has on his hands at the moment.
Considering the inconsistency at right-back since losing Trent Alexander-Arnold, it would be no surprise to see Liverpool go and sign another player there, while it will only draw more questions on the current players in that position, with Frimpong and Bradley facing uncertain futures as a likely result.
Emanuele Lulli (AS Roma)

Speaking of full-backs, Liverpool is tracking a move for AS Roma youngster Emanuele Lulli, who has broken into the senior team as a right-back this season.
That's according to TeamTalk, which claims that the 19-year-old is firmly on the Reds' radar, while Premier League rivals Arsenal and Chelsea are also in the mix.
Lulli has featured four times in six Serie A matches for Roma this season, prompting the club to try and seal a new contract extension to fend off the interest from the likes of Liverpool in the coming transfer windows.
Liverpool.com says: Liverpool is looking to built the next great team for years to come, so signing youngsters with plenty of promise is a clear strategy to do just that.
Lulli may still be relatively raw, having only been given a few senior appearances at this stage, but he could represent good value for money as a long-term signing with the future in mind.
With right-back being a clear problem area, he would fill a gap the team has there, though he may not be a guaranteed starter any time soon, which may require Liverpool to look elsewhere for that quality first-choice option.
