Spanish EuroLeague team Kosner Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz have submitted an offer to former Los Angeles Lakers center Christian Koloko, according to El Correo.
The 26-year-old entered free agency after being waived by the New Orleans Pelicans on Oct. 10. Having joined New Orleans on a one-year deal in late July, he ultimately did not make the final regular-season roster.
The 2.11-meter (6 ft 11 in) Cameroonian big man spent part of the previous two seasons with the Lakers.
He first signed a two-way contract with Los Angeles in September 2024 after missing the entire 2023-24 campaign because of a blood-clot issue.
Koloko appeared in 37 games for the Lakers during the 2024-25 season, averaging 2.4 points and 2.5 rebounds in 9.2 minutes while shooting 60.6% from the field.
Although he returned to Luka Doncic-led Los Angeles for the following season, he played only two games before being waived on November 25, 2025.
Koloko moved between three NBA teams last season
After leaving the Lakers, Koloko signed a 10-day contract with the Memphis Grizzlies in December 2025 before joining the Atlanta Hawks on a two-way deal in January.
Over 27 NBA appearances for the Lakers, Grizzlies, and Hawks in 2025-26, Koloko averaged 2.7 points and 3.0 rebounds in 13.2 minutes. He made four starts during the season.
Koloko originally entered the NBA when he was selected 33rd overall by the Toronto Raptors in the 2022 NBA Draft. He has career averages of 2.8 points and 2.8 rebounds over 122 regular-season games in three seasons.
Before turning professional, Koloko spent three seasons at Arizona. A move to Baskonia would mark the first European stint of his pro career.
