Piero Hincapié and Martín Zubimendi were absent from training ahead of Arsenal's clash against Lille in the UEFA Champions League. The Gunners could be without some big names when they face Lille at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night, denting Mikel Arteta's hopes of climbing the 'league phase' table.
Hincapié suffered an ankle injury following Arsenal's hard-fought win over Leeds United. The Gunners defender sustained the knock during the warm-down, and he had to be carried off the pitch by a member of staff.
Zubimendi also appeared to suffer an injury in the warm-down at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon, potentially explaining his absence from first-team action at the Sobha Realty Training Centre on Monday afternoon.
Christos Tzolis and William Saliba were also not involved, as they each continue to rebuild their fitness.
