The Philadelphia Eagles are just two seasons removed from their last Super Bowl title, but uncomfortable conversations need to be had about Nick Sirianni. In fact, Eagles general manager Howie Roseman is livid with his team’s head coach.
Philly’s NFL Week 5 loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars could have serious career implications for Sirianni. The Eagles coach’s costly kicking decision ultimately led to the Jaguars’ final-second field goal in London.
Meanwhile, new videos are emerged of Roseman’s sideline reaction to the sequence. Let’s just say it doesn’t look promising for Sirianni’s future given how quickly Philly’s season has spiraled.

Roseman’s not the only one furious with how the Eagles are losing games lately. The fans have every right to be calling for Sirianni’s job, especially considering the way Philly’s dropped back-to-back results against the Los Angeles Rams and Jaguars.
Sirianni took full responsibility for dropping the ball against the Jaguars, but that accountability might not be enough to save his job if the Eagles’ playoff hopes continue to fade.
“I didn’t make the right decision, and I lost us that game, and that’s what I said to our guys, and what hurts there is that the guys fought so hard and then I don’t make the decision that I should make at the end of the game and I cost us that game,” Sirianni said during his postgame interview. “I put that fully on me.”
The two-time Super Bowl champions have been atrocious to watch on offense recently. That includes awful second-half performances that have allowed opposing teams to climb back into games.
Could Eagles move on from Sirianni?

Philly’s GM hasn’t had any problems making coaching changes in the past. In fact, the Eagles moved on from Doug Pederson just just three years after helping the NFC East team win their first Super Bowl.
In this instance, Roseman shouldn’t have any difficulty getting rid of the 45-year-old because fans are baffled at what the head coach actually does. He’s not calling plays on offense, and more importantly, his late-game management skills have been severely lacking.
The Eagles’ upcoming schedule won’t do the team any favors either. Jalen Hurts and Co. will face NFC East opponents in three of their next four games.
