Mike Vrabel provides injury updates on injured Patriots TreVeyon Henderson, Will Campbell

FOXBORO — The Patriots are taking a wait-and-see approach with left tackle Will Campbell and running back TreVeyon Henderson, both of whom suffered injuries in Sunday’s [45-17 win](https://www.bostonherald.com/2026/10/11/best-and-worst-what-we-learned-from-patriots-45-17-blowout-win-over-raiders/) over the Raiders.

Campbell (knee) and Henderson (ankle) both were unable to finish the Week 5 contest.

ESPN’s Ian Rapoport reported Sunday that Campbell [suffered a sprained knee](https://www.bostonherald.com/2026/10/11/patriots-lose-will-campbell-treveyon-henderson-to-injuries-vs-raiders/) and is expected to miss some time.

“We’ll see how the week goes,” head coach Mike Vrabel said of Campbell. “It’ll get looked at and continue to rehab. Wasn’t able to finish the game, so I mean, I don’t know how much time he’ll miss, if he’ll be back towards the end of the week, if he’ll be back Wednesday. But we’ll take it day-by-day and see how he feels tomorrow. See what he does Wednesday and keep you updated on the injury report.”

Vrabel indicated that Henderson is in the same boat.

“We’ll evaluate here and see how it looks,” Vrabel said. “Wasn’t able to finish the game, and if we see that on Wednesday he’s going to be limited, then we’ll let you know he’ll be limited. And I know that those two players will do everything that they can to get back, but unfortunately, they weren’t able to finish the game. So I don’t know where their availability will be just less than 24 hours after the game.”

Rookie Caleb Lomu filled in for Campbell at left tackle, playing a career-high 49 offensive snaps. He allowed just one hurry, per PFF’s charting.

“I don’t think it was too big for him,” Vrabel said of the rookie. “I think he was able to settle down, and we didn’t really notice him a lot. So I think that’s probably a good thing. Was able to anchor at times on some power, and allowed Drake to be able to transfer up into the pocket, and I thought it worked together well with AVT (left guard Alijah Vera-Tucker) when they got in there.”

If Campbell is forced to miss Week 6 against the Jets, then Lomu would likely start in his place with fellow rookie Dametrious Crownover active as a backup.

The Patriots also could elect to activate offensive tackle Marcus Bryant from injured reserve to provide depth.

Rhamondre Stevenson took on a bigger role once Henderson went down with his ankle injury. Corey Kiner also came off the bench to give Stevenson a spell. Kiner fumbled on his first touch but was productive later in the game in garbage time.

Vrabel called Stevenson’s performance “consistent.”

“I think he hit some good runs. I think his protection was good,” Vrabel said. “We’ll need Mondre’s ability to create plays out in space and catch the ball. He catches the ball very well, and we saw how critical that was last year. So it was good to see him fight to get back out there, being limited during the week.”

The Patriots also have Lan Larison on the practice squad if they need additional depth. It would not be surprising to see the team add a fifth running back if they feel like Henderson will miss time.
