**Max Dowman is not going to be leaving Arsenal on a permanent deal anytime soon but a loan move in January is a possibility.**
Reports are suggesting that both Rangers and Celtic are keen on Dowman, who is very much part of Mikel Arteta’s thinking at the moment.
Still just a baby in terms of his football career, Dowman knows that a loan move at some point could well be beneficial for him, just in terms of getting those regular 90 minutes under his belt and being around a first-team matchday environment every week.
But when it comes to the interested clubs – and there are many – just where might Dowman end up and what would each club bring? Well, we’ve had a look here.

Clearly, Rangers a massive football club and despite struggling behind Celtic in recent years, they have started the season well and are firmly in the title mix.
A move to Ibrox would bring a lot of football for Dowman and expose him to the expectation and atmosphere that a winning team demands.
Champions in the last five seasons, Celtic currently sit top of the SPFL table and like their rivals Rangers, are a huge club.
Dowman going to Celtic would once again expose him to the big occasions and expectations and crucially, he might well win another title if the Bhoys carry on as they have been in recent years.
A move to another Premier League club must not be ruled out and there are teams in there who would definitely take Dowman if he becomes available.
In all honesty, it’s likely to be a club nearer the bottom of the table looking to survive but this could well give Dowman a taste of something he’s not yet had at Arsenal. The likes of Ipswich, Coventry, Bournemouth and Fulham would all be good pit-stops for Dowman right now.
Put simply, every single team in the Championship would take Max Dowman right now. And in fairness, we’ve seen huge successes for young players over the years at that level.
The likes of Morgan Gibbs-White, James McAtee and more have all excelled in the Championship before landing big moves into the top flight.
Another option for Arsenal is to send Dowman abroad. At just 16, this would be a risky play and would potentially expose Dowman to an environment that might be just too much to take on at a young age.
However, the Gunners have sent Ethan Nwaneri out on loan to Borussia Dortmund and there’s no reason why Dowman can’t follow suit.
Of all the options, this one seems the most unlikely but it is firmly on the table.
