Sharp struggling for professional opportunities after college

Jamarion Sharp had a productive college career, playing for three different colleges from 2019 to 2024. He was valued for his defense, as he became the blocks leader in the NCAA for two years in a row in 2022-23 as well as receiving Conference Defensive Player of the Year both times.

After going undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft, he signed with the Mavericks, but was waived after a few weeks, later joining the Legends in the G League.

He got the opportunity to play there the following season and was named G League's Defensive Player of the Year, while leading the league in blocks.
