Hours before it was revealed that the Denver Nuggets had decided to waive him, Lonnie Walker IV apparently made a key agency switch already.
On X (formerly Twitter), Misko Raznatovic himself announced that Walker IV has joined BeoBasket.
By entering the representation of the high-profile Serbian agent, this only puts Walker IV under heavy speculation that he may be preparing for an immediate return to a top-tier EuroLeague club.
Prior to signing with Raznatovic's BeoBasket agency, Walker IV was represented by agent George S. Langberg of GSL Sports Group.
Nuggets waive Lonnie Walker IV
On Monday, the Denver Nuggets made the decision to waive Lonnie Walker IV.
Walker IV joined the Nuggets via an Exhibit 9 deal this past offseason, accepting the challenge of competing for a potential roster spot within the NBA powerhouse and landing himself a comeback to the United States.
However, facing the team's roster and wing logjam, Walker appeared in just two games for Denver in preseason and only played 17 minutes total and scored just 4 points total.
He did not play in Denver's 133-128 home win over the Chicago Bulls on Sunday.
Lonnie Walker IV gunning for a EuroLeague comeback?
By joining Misko Raznatovic and BeoBasket, this certainly lands Lonnie Walker IV in a determined position to return to Europe.
Walker IV spent the past season with Maccabi Tel Aviv. He played impressively by averaging 15.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game while shooting 40% from the three-point range across 45 appearances.
With the help of Raznatovic, it remains to be seen which EuroLeague team will be next for Walker IV.
