Radio Host Blasts Deshaun Watson and the Browns After Jets Loss
In a recent episode of Cleveland sports radio station “92.3 The Fan”, analyst Anthony Alandt shared his frustration with the Browns’ performance and said:
“That sucked. I’m not going to lie to you. That really, really sucked. No part of that three and a half, four hour, however long we had to sit through that for was enjoyable. At no point was I having fun watching Cleveland Browns football. At no point was it exciting or interesting Cleveland Browns football. I guess we got to start off with the fact that you had 10 days off. You had all the momentum coming into a team that just got the doors blown off of them a week ago against the Chicago bears. Geno Smith is terrible. The team is terrible. They don’t have breeze hall. Aaron Glenn is already fielding questions about his job security. All this sort of, you know, noise outside the actual field of play.”
“That’s what you lead into with and everything for the Browns is going incredibly well. You have an emotional win last Thursday night against the Steelers packed home crowd. All the rest of it. Everything was setting up for you to be perfectly good to go perfectly, you know, ready for a four in one start heading into that game against the Baltimore Ravens next week.
And now you’re in a situation where after you threw up a clunker of all clunkers, you might be three and three and right back down to 500 after next Sunday. I know that Lamar Jackson is not playing today, but if so, we’ll see what his health status is next week.”

The Browns now face significant challenges, as their performance could affect their upcoming games. Their winning momentum had caught everyone’s attention, but this loss demonstrated how quickly momentum can disappear when execution breaks down.
The disappointing result also raises questions about the Browns’ ability to maintain consistency against teams they are expected to compete with. Having extra preparation time should have allowed the coaching staff to address weaknesses and develop a more effective game plan.
However, the team’s performance suggested that several issues remained unresolved. The offensive unit must improve its execution, make smarter decisions under pressure, and take advantage of scoring opportunities.
With another challenging matchup approaching, Cleveland cannot afford to repeat the same mistakes. The upcoming game against Baltimore will provide an important opportunity for the Browns to respond to criticism and demonstrate that their earlier success was not simply a temporary run of good form.
