The Los Angeles Rams dropped a 37-34 game at home to the Buffalo Bills that included finger-pointing at the offensive line. Coach Sean McVay described one thing that made him “pissed” amid a wild postgame environment that included a punch thrown by Rams lineman Alaric Jackson.

Video showed Jackson walking after Bills linebacker Bradley Chubb and blasting him in the face with a big right-hand shot.

Jackson is a 6-foot-7, 338-pound tackle. Chubb described what happened to the California Post afterward.

“It was a close game,” he said. “And, you know, they always catch the second guy, so I let him swing and my teammates held me back and I just chilled.”

The play happened after Josh Allen led his Buffalo Bills to the game-winning field goal, which came after Rams kicker Harrison Mevis' field goal was blocked. Fingers were pointed at several Rams after the game for the heart-wrenching loss including McVay and one of his assistant coaches.

Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford was surgical on the day, racking up 383 yards and three touchdowns including 138 yards passing to Puka Nacua, the Rams' star wide receiver. Stafford's performance earned a ‘GOAT' comment from Allen, who shredded the Rams' Chris Shula-led defense on the ground with 121 yards and a touchdown.

Jackson will almost certainly face some kind of discipline for his action after Monday Night's game, which would be bad news for a Rams offense that badly needs his services. The defense must play better, and Stafford must continue his high-flying ways, heading into October 18's home game against the Cardinals if the Rams are to get back on track.
