In the battle of the MVPs, Josh Allen came out victorious, leading the Buffalo Bills past Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams in overtime, 37-34, on Monday Night Football at SoFi Stadium.
Allen threw 12-of-19 for 210 yards and one touchdown. He also had 10 carries for 121 yards and one touchdown. He led the final drive that set up Tyler Bass' game-winning 45-yard field goal.
The 30-year-old Allen, who won the MVP in 2024, ended his seven-game losing streak in overtime.
After their escape, Allen had an immediate two-word reaction: “Go Bills.”

Allen had an epic duel with Stafford, who went 40-of-54 for 383 yards and three touchdowns.
Allen tipped his hat to Stafford, adding that he has learned a lot from him.
“He's the MVP of last season for a reason. He's one of the greatest, if not the greatest thrower of the football of all time. He's an awesome dude. He's extremely humble. He's as tough as they come,” said Allen in the postgame interview.
Allen joined Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson, and Tom Brady as the only quarterbacks in league history to reach 100 wins, including the playoffs, in their first nine seasons.
