After several weeks of waiting, FC Barcelona are now set to return to UEFA Champions League action, [as they face the Turkish side Galatasaray in their second game of the League Phase](https://barcanewsnetwork.com/ilkay-gundogan-opens-up-on-his-barcelona-spell-and-relationship-with-xavi/). In their first game, the Blaugranes beat Feyenoord with a 5-1 scoreline.
Furthermore, the Catalans have also won all of their La Liga games so far, and their form at the start of this competition makes them the favorites to win, even against a side as competitive as Galatasaray.
However, as [Mundo Deportivo](https://www.mundodeportivo.com/futbol/fc-barcelona/20261012/1004237888/cubarsi-no-imparables-buena-dinamica.html) has reported, the defender Pau Cubarsi addressed the press ahead of this game and warned his team that they cannot take a win against the Turks for granted. While recognizing the good run of form that his team has enjoyed, he was still clear how tonight’s game will be quite difficult:
**“We’re not unstoppable, but we are in a very good run of form. Things are very positive, and we have a lot of confidence… We already know their strengths and the atmosphere their stadium creates.”**
**“I haven’t spoken to Livaković, who knows Galatasaray well, but we are aware of the pressure from the fans and how they get behind their team from the start. We have to stay fully focused so that they cannot disrupt what we need to do.”**
Meanwhile, the defender also highlighted how his team can get the desired result from this game:
**“Play our game and pay attention to the small details.”**
In this upcoming game, Cubarsi will be facing the very tough challenge of stopping Victor Osimhen. However, the young Spaniard was confident that he will be up to the task:
**“I played against him a few seasons ago, when I was just starting out, and I hope he has changed a little since then. But I approach it with the same seriousness. He is one of the best strikers in the world, and we have to stay focused to prevent him from hurting us.”**
There is no doubt that tonight’s match will be quite an explosive one, and key players like Pau Cubarsi will have to be at their best to ensure Barcelona get the full three points.
