**The Chronology of Arsenal – introduction**
[The Chronology (still under construction) can be found here](https://blog.woolwicharsenal.co.uk/archives/28479)
.
That page takes the major issues in Arsenal’s history, and as we add more so the page is being split to make it manageable. Details are being put at the top of that page.
As you may know we are currently trying to pull the vast number of strands on this site together into a chronology of Arsenal – the first ever detailed list of all the major events (and many minor events) that took place in the history of Arsenal.
This involves trawling through getting on for 4500 articles and pulling out the date references, inserting them into an index. It is a slow time consuming activity because we also get side tracked into updating or improving the articles rather than just listing them.
So at the moment the Chronology is both incomplete and messy, but progress is being made, and we shall continue. I do hope you find it useful.
In the meanwhile if you have an insight or spot of knowledge about any Arsenal even we’ve not covered, please do get in touch. We don’t pay for articles published but this is the main record of the history of Arsenal so you will be contributing to the preservation of Arsenal’s history.
