Buffalo Bills star Bradley Chubb has broken his silence after receiving a shocking sucker punch from Los Angeles Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson.
The Bills travelled across the country to beat the Super Bowl favourite Rams 37-34 in a thrilling Monday Night Football clash. However, the game’s drama continued after the final whistle, with the two players involved in a heated exchange.
ESPN cameras captured Jackson near midfield exchanging jerseys with Bills defensive lineman Deone Walker when Chubb appeared to say something to him. Jackson then approached Chubb and appeared to punch him in the face with his right hand. Jackson was subsequently pulled away by Rams tight end Colby Parkinson following the punch.

"It's just emotions, you know what I mean? Emotional game. It was a close game," Chubb told the California Post in the Bills' locker room. "And, you know, they always catch the second guy. So, I let him swing. And then my teammates held me back, and I just chilled.
"Like I said, it was emotional game. Tempers got flared," Chubb said. "But it is what it is. We flushed it and we onto next week."
Chubb was still wearing his full uniform, while Jackson had removed his jersey and shoulder pads before approaching him. "Somebody swung, but hey, that's not on me to tell who," Chubb said. "There's cameras out there. I just know, you know what I'm saying, I'm just ready for next week."
Asked whether the punch had connected, Chubb replied: "I'm just ready for next week. ... You see, I'm smiling, I'm with my team. ... I'll be ready for next week."
Bills safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson also addressed the incident on social media, posting on X: "So what we gone do about dude hitting Chub!" Neither the Bills nor the Rams have publicly commented on the incident beyond Chubb's remarks and Gardner-Johnson's post.
Rams kicker Harrison Mevis saw his potential game-winning field goal blocked by Greg Rousseau in overtime, allowing Josh Allen to lead the Bills into position for Bass to seal the victory.
The win moved Buffalo to 4-1 as they bounced back from last week's disappointing defeat to AFC East rivals the New England Patriots. It also marked the first overtime victory of Allen's career.
For Sean McVay's Rams, the defeat leaves them 2-3 and third in the NFC West. The San Francisco 49ers lead the division after making a perfect start to the season.
The Bills travel to face the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, while the Rams return home to host the Arizona Cardinals.
