Depolo confirmed to Daily Arsenal last week that discussions over a new deal had stopped and that a permanent move to the Premier League in January or next summer could now represent the “best option” for the player.
The agent also revealed that Leverkusen rejected offers in the region of €70m from Aston Villa, Everton and Newcastle United during the summer transfer window.
Kofane ultimately remained at Leverkusen beyond the deadline, but his future is once again becoming a major talking point ahead of January.

Bayern have now entered the picture, adding another major European club to the growing list of potential suitors.
However, Daily Arsenal understands that Arsenal remain keen on Kofane and continue to be kept informed of developments surrounding his future.
The 20-year-old remains viewed by the Gunners as a striker with significant long-term potential, although Arsenal believe he could benefit from first gaining experience at another Premier League club before potentially making the step up to one of England’s biggest sides.
It remains to be seen whether Kofane will leave Leverkusen in January or remain in Germany until the end of the season, but interest in his services is continuing to grow.
