The Cleveland Browns have a promising future at wide receiver with rookies Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion looking like impact offensive weapons for years to come. It’s made veteran wideout Jerry Jeudy expendable ahead of the NFL trade deadline, but interested teams seem to be balking at the reported asking price.
According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, it’s well-known around the league that the Browns are open to trading Jeudy. In exchange for the wide receiver, Cleveland is reportedly seeking to land a third- or fourth-round pick.

Jeudy, a Pro Bowl selection in 2024, was originally acquired by Cleveland just over two years ago from the Denver Broncos in exchange for fifth- and sixth-round picks in the 2024 NFL Draft. He thrived in his first season with the team, setting career highs in receptions (90) and receiving yards (1,229).
However, he’s since produced just 683 receiving yards in his last 22 games dating back to the start of the 2025 NFL season. Cleveland spent premium draft capital in the 2026 NFL Draft to replace him, resulting in Jeudy playing on just 58 percent of the team’s offensive snaps this fall. That includes Week 5, when he played a season-high 55 snaps because of Concepcion’s concussion. From Weeks 1-4, Jeudy averaged just 31 snaps per game.
Jerry Jeudy stats (2025): 50 receptions 602 receiving yards on 106 targets in 17 games
It seems highly unlikely that any team would be willing to give up even a future fourth-round pick for Jeudy. While he’s only 27 years old, the former first-round pick ranks 102nd among wide receivers in yards per route run (0.69) and 93rd in first downs per route run (0.044). He is still a serviceable player who would help teams that have become dangerously thin at wide receiver, but not at the high price point Cleveland is setting.
So, while the Browns front office has clearly made him available, a deal isn’t likely coming until much closer to the 2026 NFL trade deadline on Tuesday, November 10. Clubs are likely hoping that Cleveland will have drastically lowered its asking price by then, potentially more in the range of a late fifth-round pick or a swap of Day 3 picks in the 2027 NFL Draft.
