THE Cherries are open to selling Alex Scott in January, but only if certain conditions are met, with Liverpool in a favourable position to sign the midfielder, the Daily Echo understands.

Liverpool are understood to be in a favourable position due to their pre-existing relationship with both Bournemouth and Scott, with former boss Andoni Iraola in charge at Anfield.

During that break, Scott impressed on his England debut off the bench against Czechia and in his first international start during the 7-0 drubbing of Croatia in Rijeka.
